The tables are water-resistant, but the colour might change if left repeatedly in the rain. Use a damp cloth and extra soapy water to clean the metal parts. The cushion should not get wet
This version of the elegant Victorias Coffee Tables includes a hand-woven seat cushion, turning the piece into an adorable pouf. Clean-lined yet playful, it infuses any room with a subtle tropical flair. Designed by Cristina Celestino, the circular frame and V-shaped gap in the tabletop’s raised edge are inspired by the up to three meter large leaves of the enormous water lily Victoria amazonica. The cover of the fitted cushion is hand-woven from the leaves of the Cumare palm. The powder coated steel tables are available in three different sizes and four colour combinations, featuring a colour contrast between table top inside and the body. Only the two larger versions can be ordered with a cushion
Each table is made by hand in our partner workshops in Colombia. The steel is fire-galvanised before being powdercoated. The production of one metal table takes 13 days and for the version with cushion 22 days
Cristina Celestino is one of the most prolific contemporary italian designers. Her products and interiors share a softness, often defined by curved lines, a love for pastel hues and subtle links to Italy's rich design heritage. She graduated from the school of architecture at IUAV University of Venice in 2005 and started working as an interior and furniture designer
