When Sebastian Herkner traveled through Colombia with Ames, the most diverse regions inspired him to create the most diverse products. And at one of the colder regions of all places, the lake landscape of the Boyacá region, produced four warm rugs for the coldest days of the year.
The Paipas rugs (Paipas is the capital of the region) are made using the traditional warp and weft method, a craft that Herkner was enthusiastic about when he visited the local manufacturers.
