The Nudo Rug, a design by Sebastian Herkner, is a deep-pile wool rug in the shape of a traditional mask. Its colour-blocking design is a nod to a 1970s aesthetic. Each of the colour fields has a different pile height, creating a fascinating combination of textures. As the rug is made with the finest virgin wool, it feels beautifully soft to touch. The design is available in two sizes
Each rug is made from wool and manufactured in small workshops in the Colombian city of Cajicá, where the local craftsmen and craftswoman still know the traditional weaving and knotting techniques. Made entirely by hand, it takes four days to prepare and dye the wool, while the making of the actual rug takes eight days - each individual warp and weft is being manually
